The mind behind ShitRust and the journey of a young programmer.
Turkey
Developer of ShitRust
I'm a 17-year-old programmer from Turkey who has been passionate about coding for over 7 years. My journey in programming has been an exciting adventure that began when I was just 10 years old.
What started as a curiosity quickly developed into a passion. Like many young programmers, I was initially drawn to the more "exciting" aspects of computing – specifically, exploring the world of malware creation. This early exploration wasn't about causing harm but understanding how systems work, their vulnerabilities, and the technical aspects behind security.
As my skills evolved, so did my interests. I shifted my focus to web development, creating my first websites and learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This foundation led me to explore full-stack development, where I could build both the front-end user interfaces and back-end systems that power applications.
Over the years, I've worked with various programming languages and frameworks, each teaching me different approaches to solving problems. My experience spans from creating malware (purely for educational purposes ofcourse), to developing websites, to building full-stack applications, and now designing programming languages.
ShitRust, my latest project, represents the culmination of my programming journey so far. It's a language that combines the safety of Rust, the readability of Python, and the performance of C/C++. The project started as a personal challenge and has evolved into a serious endeavor that I hope others will find useful and educational.
As a developer, I believe in creating tools that strike a balance between performance, safety, and usability. Too often, programming languages force developers to choose between these attributes, but I think we can have all three with thoughtful design.
My approach to programming is pragmatic. I enjoy tackling random projects that pique my interest, whether they're practical applications, experimental tools, or just fun coding challenges. This diverse experience has shaped my understanding of what makes a good programming language and has directly influenced the design of ShitRust.
Currently, I'm focused on expanding ShitRust's capabilities and building a community around it. I'm constantly working on new features, improving ShitRust.
I'm also continuing my education and exploring new areas of computer science. As a young developer, I recognize that there's always more to learn, and I'm excited about the journey ahead.
If you're interested in ShitRust or have ideas to contribute, I'd love to hear from you. The best way to reach me is through GitHub, where you can also contribute to the project directly.
Thank you for your interest in ShitRust and for taking the time to learn about me. I hope you find the language useful and enjoyable to work with lol!
Some of my other notable projects include:
A collection of websites and web applications I've built over the years, From webscrapers to full-stack applications!.
Educational security tools (Pentesting tools) for analyzing system vulnerabilities and understanding protection mechanisms in various systems.
Various web applications with both front-end interfaces and back-end services, including authentication, database management, and API integration (some of them are shit. LOL).
